Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is an iconic fixed shooter arcade game where players take on the challenge of defending against relentless centipedes, cunning spiders, fearsome scorpions, and pesky fleas utilizing a powerful bugblaster! Your objective is to endure as long as possible in this thrilling gaming experience. The bugblaster fires small darts aimed at the segmented body of the centipede, which is made up of 10 to 12 distinct segments, including its head. When you strike a segment, it transforms into a mushroom, but the challenge doesn’t end there; each piece continues its descent towards your blaster independently. To eliminate the centipede completely, you must target its head directly. Control your blaster with either the keyboard or mouse as you navigate the action-packed screen and take down the centipede!
